StockDuel is a competitive 1v1 game where two players fight using virtual portfolios built from real-world tickers. It is a game first: the market is simulated, the money is virtual, and no shares are ever bought or sold.

Each match is a five minute duel. Both fighters spawn with exactly $10,000 of virtual cash and the highest portfolio value at 00:00 wins.

Queue from the PLAY screen. Matchmaking pairs you with an opponent — in the MVP, a bot archetype with its own trading personality.

In the arena, select a ticker from the rail, then buy with fixed increments or MAX, and sell 25%, 50% or your whole position. Every action updates your portfolio instantly.

Spend your three abilities at the right moment, watch your risk meter, and read the match feed to track your opponent.

Duration: 5 minutes. Starting balance: $10,000 virtual USD for both players.

You may hold any number of positions. Fractional shares are allowed, so you can deploy an exact dollar amount.

At 30 seconds the HUD escalates into FINAL 30 SECONDS. At 10 seconds the FINAL PUSH countdown takes over the screen.

The highest total value — cash plus positions plus ability bonuses — wins the match.

Twelve tickers are playable. Each has a distinct volatility profile that defines how hard it can swing your score, plus a gameplay tier used for cosmetics and collection progress.

BOOST — amplifies the score impact of your selected position for 20 seconds.

HEDGE — dampens roughly 60% of incoming losses while active.

SWAP — instantly reallocates 60% of your weakest holding into the hottest ticker on the board.

Each ability has three charges and a 45 second cooldown.

Prices come from a local seeded random-walk simulator with per-symbol volatility, occasional regime shifts and rare shock events. It ticks once per second during a match.

The simulator is isolated behind a single feed interface, so a real market data provider can replace it later without touching the game logic.

Victories award +250 XP and +18 rating. Defeats still award +90 XP and cost 12 rating. XP drives rank progression from BRONZE up to LEGEND, each split into three divisions.

Cosmetic badges, titles and HUD skins unlock through arena milestones. They are decorative progression items only.

Is this real trading? No. All balances are virtual and all price movement is simulated. StockDuel does not execute trades or provide investment advice.

Do I need a wallet? No. Wallet linking is optional and uses a standard EVM connection on BNB Chain to bind your arena identity. No transaction is ever signed in the MVP.

Do cosmetics represent ownership? No. Badges, titles and skins are game items and carry no claim on any company or security.

Is there sound? Not yet. The audio layer is wired but ships silent — no autoplay.
